Did our hearts nOt burn within us?
A.W. Tozer and a few friends would regularly gather with the intention of stirring one another in their passion to pursue God. They called it the "Fellowship of the Burning Heart." It was born out of Tozer's deep desire for a revival of authentic, passionate Christianity. The phrase itself comes from Luke 24:32, where the disciples on the road to Emmaus, after encountering Jesus, said: "Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?"

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONFERENCE?
A Call to Young Adult Pastors & Leaders
We want to urge and encourage young adult pastors and leaders to be people of deep prayer, integrity, vision and passion for Christ. We believe that if leaders burn with a holy fire, the whole community of young adults will follow.

Holiness & Separation - Burning Heart is meant to be a countercultural movement of believers who pursue God above all else, living as shining lights—a generation set apart for Him.

Ps Isaiah is widely recognised as one of Australia’s leading voices to youth and young adults. With over a decade of experience in inspiring and empowering the next generation, he has played a key role in building impactful ministries throughout Queensland. Alongside his wife Renee, Isaiah serves as the Director of Youth Alive QLD & NT. Together, they have been an integral part of the Youth Alive Movement for many years, passionately investing in the lives of young people across the nation.

Her passion for theology and worship shines through everything she does, and she is deeply committed to seeing the liberating truths of Scripture transform hearts and lives. James Murray is the Senior Pastor of Abide Church, Sydney. James is passionate about the local church and together with his wife Alana have served as Youth and Associate Pastors for over 15 years before they felt the distinct calling from God start a church in 2013. James is a visionary leader and gifted communicator with a fire for seeing the raising up of disciples following the way of Jesus within a multi-generational and inclusive community. James will encourage and challenge you to pursue God above all else and to be a generation set apart for Him.
